A Starting point.

I thought today was as good a day as any to start this blog with it being June 6th D-Day.
I have always studied the Second World War from the time I was at school all the way to today and I feel that I should put some of this down before I forget it.

I hope to cover a lot of the big points of the conflict and some of the not so big points as well as a look at how times changed between 1939 to 1945.

I hope that lots of people find this blog full of information and please feel free to join in with any comments or bits of info you would like to add.
